Alice M. (Fuller) Willcutt, 92, a lifelong resident of Hampden, died peacefully on June 6, 2017, at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing in Springfield, with family at her side. Alice was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Percy A. and Alice S. (Hatch) Fuller and was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Jesse Eyre “Bump” Willcutt Sr. for over 65 years. She leaves a sister, Shirley Beckman of CT and five children, Gordon Willcutt, Jr. and his wife Kathryn of Los Alamos, NM, Cynthia Shults of Hampden, Brenda Dartt and her husband Gary of Statesboro, GA, Mark Willcutt and his wife Cynthia of Hampden, and Scott Willcutt and his wife Diana of Tilton, NH, as well as nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Homer and Richard Fuller and Clara Richardson. Alice was a member of the Hampden Federated Community Church and selflessly contributed to the community thru the Hampden Senior Center. She was self-reliant and active well into her nineties but most of all, Alice enjoyed time with family. Visitation will be held Monday, June 12th from 12:30–1:30 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., Springfield. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home with burial to be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden.
