Debbie L. (Gouvan) Bowler, 60, of Springfield passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Redstone Nursing Home. Born in Ludlow on April 23, 1956 she was a daughter of Thomas and June (Tetreault) Gouvan. Debbie worked on the committee for People Against Cancer and was a previous member of College Church and most recently of Grace United Church. She was very involved in her churches, especially in Operation Christmas Child and volunteering.  Along with her parents, Debbie leaves her son, Zachary Holmes of NY; her two daughters, Tonya Bolwer of Seattle, WA, and Mandi Lafi of Easthampton; her sister Nancy Ainsworth of SC; and her grandson, Joshua Ortiz. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11am at College Church, 58 Pomeroy Terrace, Northampton.
