Doris P. (Miller) DeFelice, 96, formerly of Wilbraham, died late Tuesday morning, June 27, 2017 at Wingate of East Longmeadow. She was born in Northampton, a daughter of the late Archie R. and Jennie (King) Miller. She was a former communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church of Wilbraham and more recently attended Christ the King Church in Ludlow. Doris was a caring woman who opened her home to many stray or rescued animals during her lifetime which eventually became part of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late William A. DeFelice who died in 2011 and leaves two nephews, Raymond K. Keddy, Sr. and his wife Virginia of Hampden and Venice, FL, and Richard Sibilia and his wife Barbara of Wilbraham, a niece, Deborah and husband Joseph Berthiaume of East Longmeadow; as well as numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sister Dorothy M. Keddy. Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 3rd at 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., with Rites of Committal to conclude at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, both in Springfield.
