Elizabeth “Betty” M. (Rossmeisel) Vartuli, 87, of Springfield passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Redstone Nursing Home. Born in Springfield on June 17, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Grace (Craven) Rossmeisel. Betty worked as a caretaker for 30 years. She attended Bethesda Lutheran Church, where she loved to sing.  Betty enjoyed hobbies such as sewing and puzzles with her great friends at the Costello house. Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her daughter, Dianna Hassett, and her two brothers, Lester and Bernard Rossmeisel. She leaves her two sons, Ronald Vartuli from East Hampton, CT and Dominic Vartuli and his wife Genti from Taiwan; two grandchildren, Michael Vartuli and Andrea Moore; great-grandchildren; and cousins, Shirley and Gail.
