Gordon N Blomfield

Gordon N. Blomfield, 86, of Springfield, passed away on March 11, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. Gordon was born in Springfield on December 7, 1937, the son of the late Reginald and Helen (Gordon) Blomfield. He was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School. He was also a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology School of Design. Gordon proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated with his wife Donna The Art Department in Springfield for many years. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his sister Jean D. Blomfield. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years of marriage Donna (Meserve) Blomfield of Springfield, a sister in law Anita Pigeon and her husband George of Wilbraham, and he leaves nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 10a.m - 11a.m at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. Followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11a.m.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
