Jacob T. Crowell, 23, of Springfield, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Jacob was born in Springfield on February 22, 1994. Jacob had a passion for dirt bikes, motorcycles, and BMX biking, and hoped one day to become an automotive mechanic. He was a graduate of Central High School, class of 2012. Jacob was employed by Aaron’s Furniture in Pittsfield, MA. He is survived by his mother Tricia Tarrant of Springfield and his father Craig Crowell and his wife Geri of Enfield, CT., and a brother Patrick Crowell of Springfield and wife Hannah, as well as their two children Elias and Autumn Crowell, a sister Noelle Tarrant of Boston; his sister Stacy Canning of Maryland; his paternal grandmother Nancy Crowell of Indian Orchard, MA., and his maternal grandfather Kent Tarrant of Hampden; his maternal grandmother Alice Tarrant of Springfield. Jacob was predeceased by a sister Kristen Crowell in 2010, and his paternal grandfather Lee B. Crowell in 2016. Family and friends will gather and remember Jacob on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 11-12noon at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA 01118, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12noon. Burial will conclude in Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield.

No one will ever know it broke our hearts to lose you. Jake, you did not go alone…a part of us went with you the day God called you home.
