Leon (L-Trayn) G. Traynham, III, 32 of Springfield, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born in Springfield on May 3, 1985, the son of Leon G. Traynham, Jr., of Springfield and Thelma Simone Stancil of Springfield. Leon was a graduate of Longmeadow High School and also attended Springfield Technical Community College. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his adored daughter Kailyn Traynham of Ware, MA, and her mother Ryan Lynds. He leaves an extensive loving family including maternal grandmother Ellise Grandy of Springfield and his maternal grandfather Clyde Stancil, Sr. and his wife Jessie, of Chesapeake, VA., and his paternal grandmother Kathleen Traynham of Methuen, MA. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Leon Sr. He also leaves aunts Andrea (Sherman) Davis, Beatrice (Ronald) Wilson, Lisa Stancil, Shawana Perry, and Kristin Stancil and uncles Clyde Stancil Jr. and Myron (Deirdre) Stancil as well as many great aunts, uncles, first and second cousins. In addition to family, Leon leaves very special friends David Torres, Nikita and Mandi. Leon was predeceased by a special grandfather, Timothy Perry.  Family and friends will gather and remember Leon on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
