Louise M. (Turgeon) Wiers, 72 of the sixteen area section of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Heritage Hall nursing home. Louise was born in Levis, Quebec, Canada on March 30, 1945, the daughter of the late Arthur and Camille (Trombley) Turgeon. Louise was educated in the Levis school system. She moved in 1965 and settled in the Springfield area. She worked for Monarch Insurance for many years. Louise was an avid dog lover and spent many years breeding dachshund. She is survived by her beloved husband Ralph Wiers of Springfield and two devoted children Robert Hawkins of Kansas City, MO., and Marie J. Jenkins and her husband Alan of Hampden, MA., as well as five brother and four sisters and a large extended family in Canada. All services and burial will be private in Quebec, Canada.
