Mafalda (Passerini) Allen, 84, of Springfield died early Tuesday morning at her residence. She was born in West Springfield a daughter of the late Ralph and Louise (Paier) Passerini. Mafalda was the beloved wife of the late Homer B. Allen and leaves two children, Homer Allen Jr. (Mary) of Indian Orchard, and Gloria Provost (Wayne) of Belchertown; a sister, Doris Downey  of CT, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Monday, March 20th at 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., in Springfield. Relatives and friends may call prior to the service from 10 AM – 11 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
