Marcus J. Brown, 13, passed away on March 14, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Marcus loved the color pink, playing his guitar, listening to music, playing and watching movies on his phone. He is survived by his parents Kevin and Tammy (Majka) Brown, three brothers Kevin Brown, Jr., of West Springfield, Kenneth Brown of Springfield and Jordan Brown of Springfield and he leaves a nephew Jaiden Brown and his maternal grandmother Helen Cannon of South Carolina and his paternal grandmother Evelyn Brown of Springfield. Marcus leaves his uncle Kenneth Brown and his wife Rosita and their four daughters Nicole, Veronica, Shomaria and Tia and he leaves his aunt Yvette Thomas and her husband Vincent and their children Brianna and Vincent Jr., and his aunt Loretta Majka and her children Alayna, Brendan and Travis. Marcus was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Coley Brown and a cousin Anthony Brown. Family and friends will gather and remember Marcus on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 4-5p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St, Springfield. Followed by a Life Celebration Service at 5p.m. Burial will be private.
