Did not know of Reanne's passing until recently. We are all very saddened and were surprised to see she resided in Ct. and worked in Manchester (as did our sister). We had such wonderful times in Niantic, Ct., spending summers and playing baseball with the Burke family's on our adjoining properties. We will cherish those memories with a smile on our faces and laughter in our hearts. All our love and blessings...Nancy (Ginotti) Rashaw and the Ginotti Family.

It was with great sadness that I read of Reanne's death. I just got home from being away at the beach and was catching up on the delivered news papers..What a shock. Whenever I am at the shore I think of all the great times we had with the Burke family and wish they were still there. I will remember playing wiffell ball all hours of the day with Reanne and her siblings.. There was no shortage of fun with her. My deepest sympathies go out to her family. I am so sorry I wasn't at the services..Had I known, there was no other place I would have been. With much love and beautiful memories, Reggie Ginotti

We are shocked and saddened to hear about Reanne's passing. We met Reanne at her job in Manchester just last month. Even though we knew her for just a brief time, she made a lasting impression on us. She had so much to give to people and the passion she felt about helping people shone so brightly. She was kind, giving, funny and did her job sooooo well. She will be forever missed by us. It is such a shame that other people will not have Reanne in their corner and that they will not have the privilege of her light shining on them.

I had the privilege of knowing meeting Reanne almost 20 years ago when we both worked at the Phoenix Cancer Center in Enfield. I recognized from the start that she was a special person with superb nursing skills, a wonderfully warm personality, and a great wit. She infused any gathering with laughter and joy. For patients and friends she always was a spark of life. I extend my sincerest condolences to her family.

My life will forever be better for having known Reanne. To be able to find someone who you can be goofy with and still get the job done is a treasure. Thankfully I was blessed with this and so much more. I will miss her sarcastic humor, her never ending support and encouragement. Having wine together even if hers had ice in it!! My prayers are with all of you!

We were neighbors on Bayne Street. Reanne babysat Chuck and Laurel Redington and I appreciated her sweetness and kindness with my children. I always admired her athleticism. As the founding president of the East Longmeadow High School Athletic Hall of Fame, I nominated her for induction into the first class because of all her great accomplishments in sport. It was fitting that Laurel Redington, for whom Reanne babysat, was a fellow inductee then. As Albert Schweitzer once wrote, "I don't know what your destiny will be but one thing I do know: The ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve." Reanne was really happy. Having known Reanne and her family for so long, please accept my personal feeling of honor for having known her.

Reanne was one of kind. Oncology nursing isn't a profession, so much as a calling and a tough one at that. Reanne took on this calling with the utmost professionalism and a level of compassion for her patients and their families that ran deep into her core. I will remember her for that, as well as her quick wit and that smile, she always shared with others.

Such a tragic loss of a beautiful, vibrant person. I had the privilege of working under Reanne as my supervisor at The Damour Center. I will always treasure her memory, especially her infectious laughter. My deepest sympathy to all and may you find peace during this very difficult time. God Bless.

We are so sorry for your family's loss. On a rainy day in May, Reanne came out to support the Cancer House of Hope in our annual golf tournament. She was obviously very passionate for our cause and very compassionate towards all those affected. God bless.

So terribly sorry for the loss to your family. Reanne was such a kind, generous and happy person. It was such a pleasure to work with her at Dana Farber. We had just called each other on Friday (8/18), did not get to speak, but at least texted each other. Her text told me that she was in a happy place in her life. I will always feel privileged to have known her. God Bless her and her family. Wishing you peace during this difficult time.

I had the great honor of working with Reanne at D'Amour Cancer Center. I was always amazed at her ability to bring cheer to any situation, her keen focus on patient care and true devotion to the nurses that she managed. I also had the opportunity to play golf with her many times and feel she could have gone professional and had a great career on the golf course. She had a perfect golf swing. She was a good friend and I will miss her very much.

While I will be away at the time of the services, please know that my heart goes out to all of the family. Reanne was always the life of the party even when there wasn't a party! She was extradordinary! Her heart and sense of humor is what I will always remember most. Her ability to keep a straight face when no one else could. Her generosity as big as her sense of humor--huge! She will truly be missed. I will always remember nothing but the fun she possessed and shared. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at a very difficult time. Hard to comprehend. I have a feeling she is dancing like Elaine from Seinfeld, sipping on a cocktail, having a ball. Tons of love, Jill
