Alison Dawn (Bosworth) Dean

Alison Dawn (Bosworth) Dean, of the Sixteen Acres section of Springfield, died early Monday morning, April 13, 2020 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born in Northampton, MA a daughter of the late Robert E. and Eugenia H. (Bias) Bosworth and was a graduate of Belchertown High School. Alison was employed in the clerical department with the City of Springfield Police Department for many years retiring in May of 2019. Family was her number one priority, cherishing the moments she spent with her two sons and their families. She also loved social dancing with her family and friends. Alison leaves two loving sons, Anthony W. Bosworth, Sr., and his wife Jasmine of Indian Orchard, and Tommie O. Hart and his wife Tiffany of Springfield; two brothers, Timothy Bosworth of CT, and Barry Bosworth of ND; four sisters, Ann Hamer of NJ, Janet Bosworth and Ellen Ryan both of Springfield, and Janice Bosworth and her husband Terry Wasson of NH; 8 grandchildren, Janine, Leatha, Kyanna, Corey, Anthony Jr., Ashley, Jovon and Jasmyn; 6 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Caylan, Aurea, Kynnsley, and Jazelle; a sister-in-law, Nancy Bosworth of Springfield; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Alison was predeceased by her great-grandson, Dorian, and brothers, James Bias and Robert Bosworth. A Celebration of Alison’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Her family has entrusted the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center with her arrangements.
