Amanda Katie O’Sullivan, 31, died early Thursday morning, May 24, 2018 in Longmeadow, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, the beloved daughter of Anne (O’Dowd) O’Sullivan Crowley and John T. O’Sullivan. Amanda was a graduate of Longmeadow High School Class of 2005. After graduating from hairdressing school she was a proud barber for several salons in the Greater Springfield area. Amanda was a beautiful, gentle soul, who was greatly loved by her family and her friends. Amanda was a giver, and her beauty radiated from the inside out. She loved helping and giving to others and enjoyed dancing, cooking and music. Amanda was very loyal to her friends and family and brought happiness to all those that she knew. She embraced each moment that life had to offer, and shared her generous loving ways with all those who came across her path. We will always remember her Angelic free-spirited personality and her light will shine in our hearts forever. Amanda is survived by her parents, Anne Crowley and her husband Richard “Doco” Crowley of Longmeadow, and her father, John T. O’Sullivan of Lee, MA; four sisters, her twin, Andrea (Drea) O’Sullivan, of Boca Raton, FL, Suzanne Keenan and her husband Brian of Longmeadow, Lorraine Rousou and her husband Anthony of Longmeadow, Donna Wood and her husband Stephen of Westchester, NY. She was the fun-loving Auntie to Joseph Keenan, Loulla, John and Alexie Rousou. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins in both Ireland and the States, in particular her Aunt Eil. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 30th at 12:00 noon, directly at St. Mary’s Church, 519 Longmeadow St., with Rites of Committal to conclude at Longmeadow Cemetery, 34 Williams St., both in Longmeadow.
