Ariel O. Serrano, 27, of Springfield, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 9, 2022. Ariel was born in Springfield on November 13, 1994, the son of Eduardo Perez and Brenda Santana. Ariel attended Central High School. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, playing baseball, riding his motorcycle but the most treasured moments were spending time with his loving family and friends. He is survived by his mother Brenda Santana of Springfield and his father Eduardo Perez of Worcester, MA., his children Ayden Serrano and Aydriel Connell and their mother Aaliyah Connoll and Veyda Ariel Serrano, his girlfriend Baily Adams, three brothers Eduardo Perez, Jr., Edlian C. Perez, and Eilam J. Perez, his maternal grandmother Iraida Olmeda of Springfield and his maternal grandfather Santiago Santana of Puerto Rico, his paternal grandfather Carlos Rivera of Puerto Rico and his late paternal grandmother Santa Rodriguez, he also was the adored nephew to Iris “TiTiiiiiii “, Rebecca Santana, Betzaida Santana, Aidalyn Santana, Santiago Santana, Evelyn Rivera, Raquel Ruemruele, Karla Rivera, Xiomara Rivera and John Rivera. As well as a large extended family here and in Puerto Rico. Family and friends will gather and remember Ariel on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4-7p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10a.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bay Street, Springfield.
