Barbara J. Dumas

Barbara (Waters) Dumas, 87, of East Longmeadow passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Home. Born in Flushing, NY on December 14, 1930 she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Campbell) Waters. Barbara worked as a communication specialist for Mass Mutual Insurance for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and crocheting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Dumas in 2003. She leaves her three daughters, Susan Graney of Springfield, Judy Ede and her husband Andrew of East Longmeadow, and Laurie Byrd and her husband Matthew of Oceanside, CA; her brother, Richard Waters of Vanwert, OH; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11am in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield.
