Beatrice (Gottsche) Officer, 103, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She leaves her son, James Officer of New Mexico; her daughter Sandra Wild and her husband Thomas of Hampden; and her daughter-in-law Marianne Officer of Maine. She leaves five grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Carl Officer; her parents Marcus Gottsche and Nettie (Pease) Gottsche; her sister Lora Willey; her brother Marcus Gottsche and her twin, Barbara Emerson. She loved bingo, cards, the casino, and driving the school bus! Beatrice was an accomplished artist, teaching her grandchildren how to draw and paint.  She had many hobbies and many friends at Centennial Commons. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 8th at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden.
