Agnes “Bo” L. (Seaman) Melas, 77, of Ludlow, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bronx, NY on October 9, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Gertrude (Shaks) Seaman. Bo proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. She worked as a Postal Police Officer for the US Postal Inspection Service for over 30 years and was a former owner of Chapin East Variety during the 90’s. She was the serving President of the Golden Senior Club at the Ludlow Senior Center, where she enjoyed her time with her many friends. Bo loved woodworking, crafts, bowling, and playing cards. She was also a great chair volleyball player. Bo leaves her best friend of many years, Sharon Carpenter. She also leaves her sister, Jane Sockey & her husband Dennis, and her step-sister, Mary Ellen Meunier. She leaves numerous beloved nieces and nephews, with their respective families and many dear friends. All funeral services for Bo will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
