Cashe Regia-Lahjay Green-Hudson

Cashé Regia-Lahjay Green-Hudson was born in Springfield, MA on May 1, 2002, at Baystate Medical Center. She was called home on September 27, 2021. Her baby face, chubby cheeks, and afro puffs will long be remembered by all.

Her joyful, courageous, go-getter spirit will be a fond memory of her father. Her mother will remember her unique laugh and big, bright smile. While her younger sister will forever hold the memory of their duets together, her little brother says he will always remember the photos he would capture of her with his iPad.

Cashé was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lillyan Green and Kenneth (Jay Jay) Holmes; her maternal great-grandparents, Betty Green-Cheek; and Great Hershel Green, her maternal great-grandmother, Ernestine Holmes. On her paternal side, she was preceded by her grandfather, Fred Campbell and her great-grandparents, Cornelius and Mason Hudson.

Cashé is survived by her parents, Shanial Green and Reginald Hudson; her 16-year-old sister, Cah-shy; her 3-year-old brother, Cah’lil Green-Hudson; three older siblings, her sister, M’shae Hudson, and her brothers, Reginald Hudson Jr. and Rahson Hudson; her maternal great-grandfather, William Robert Holmes; her paternal grandparents, Evelyn Campbell and Willie Charles Hudson; as well as her paternal great-grandmother, Mabel Campbell; her maternal uncles, Ateba Green, Tarrell Green, Jayson Green, and Kenneth Holmes Jr; her maternal aunts, Tiffany Johnson; and Echo Kitt, her paternal uncles; Quentis Hudson, Torrance Hudson, and Edward Campbell; her paternal aunts, Yolanda McCray, Consuella Grady, Jacqueline Campbell, and Darolyn Kemmerlin; her nephew, Ja’King Hudson and a host of aunts, great aunts, uncles, great uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends turned family.

Family, relatives and friends, please join us as we honor and remember the life of Cashe on Tuesday, October 12th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, followed by a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street, both in Springfield.
