Charles Gilman Meserve

Charles G. Meserve, 93, of Hampden, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Charles was born in Worcester, MA., on November 4, 1929, the son of the late Carl and Myra (Smith) Meserve. Charles was a resident of Hampden for 60 years. He loved archery, hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, playing tennis, fishing and most of all flying one of his many many RC airplanes with the NCRCC club. He was a Patternmaker by trade.  In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his sister Roberta Caswell. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years of marriage Ruth A. (King) Meserve of Hampden, two devoted children Lois Meserve of Hampden and Allen Meserve and his wife Cynthia of Monson, and a cherished granddaughter Charlene Meserve of Agawam. Family and friends will gather and remember Charles on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 12noon – 2p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.
