Clifford Joseph “Cliff” Lehman, 30, a resident of Hampden for most of his life, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He was born in Houston, Texas the loving son and best friend of Edward J. Lehman. Cliff was educated from the Hampden School system and was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School Class of 2006. He enlisted in the United States Army and was a veteran of Iraq War serving as a combat Engineer for over six years. Cliff was the recipient of the Iraq Campaign Medal with two Combat Stars, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Action Badge, and the Driver and Mechanic Badge. After his honorable discharge from active duty, Cliff returned home and continued his education enrolling at Springfield Technical Community College in the Multi Media Technology Field. Cliff was a well-known avid gamer in the gaming industry. He leaves his father and best friend, Edward J. Lehman of Hampden; his brother, Drew J. Lehman of Westfield; and his loving grandmother, Linda J. (Harris) Lehman of Hampden; as well as several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 16th at 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, in Springfield. Burial and Military Honors will follow in the Harris family lot in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, May 15th from 4-7 PM.
