Daniel “Danny” Escobar, 38, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Danny was a thirteen year veteran of the Holyoke Police Department. He is survived by his wife Cam-Ly, his children, his parents and a large extended family.  Family and friends will honor and remember Danny on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA. Members of the law enforcement community are asked to arrive in uniform at church for 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-7p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
