David H. Keith

David H. Keith, 68, of the Sixteen Acres section of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home. David was born in Boston on July 21, 1951, the son of the late Robert B. and Barbara A. (Herrington) Keith. David lived in Watertown, Massachusetts, until 1964, and then his family moved to Wilbraham.  He graduated from Minnechaug High School in 1969.  He graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta New York and received a Master’s degree from Western New England College.  He retired from a position of disability claim examiner at Mass Mutual.  He was an active volunteer with the Springfield Branch of the American Red Cross.  He participated in hiking clubs and enjoyed theaters such as the Majestic Theater and enjoyed attending craft fairs. David is survived by his devoted sister Carol Johnston and her husband William of East Longmeadow. All services and burial will be private at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA.
