David K Wilder

David K. Wilder, formerly of East Longmeadow, died on Monday, September 11, 2023 in Granby, Massachusetts. He was born in Springfield; a son of the late David A. and Shirley A. (Spangler) Wilder and was educated in East Longmeadow, and was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School Class of 1978. David, while attending high school enjoyed participating in the East Longmeadow Spartanum Spectacular Variety show. He owned and operated his own landscaping company for many years in the greater Springfield area. David was an avid sports fan, enjoyed camping, music and karaoke.

He leaves two daughters, Melissa R. Vanderburgh and Kevin Babineau of Wilbraham, and Karla F. Wilder and Donny Warren of Springfield; his sisters, Laura- Jo Goguen and her husband Darren of Hampden, and Jill M. Doe of Springfield; as well as 13 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may visit on Wednesday evening, September 20th from 6-7 PM followed by a Funeral Home Service beginning at 7:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., in Springfield. A private burial is scheduled at a later date.
