Denise "DeeDee" Ann Clarke Stanbury

enise Ann “DeeDee” Clarke Stanbury passed away peacefully at her home in Springfield, on March 30, 2021, surrounded by her family. Denise was born on October 10, 1963 to the late Norman Clarke, Sr. and Arlene Matthews-Clarke Ramos. Denise loved scenic drives to see the fall foliage, collecting antiques, crocheting beautiful projects, but most importantly, she loved her family. To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband Vernaldo Stanbury; her loving daughter and caretaker Melinda Khouri and her husband Donald; daughter Arrianna Clarke; son Jason Clarke. She is also survived by her stepsons: Durand, Andrew, and Emil. Children by love Munchie and Ralphy; her precious grandchildren: Isaiah, Samantha, Aalyssa, Nadia, Madison, Blake, and many more grandchildren. A sister Patricia Cruz, and brother Antonio Clarke. She also leaves three other siblings, several nieces and nephews, her Great Aunt Celeste, and best friend Bobbie-Jo. Denise was predeceased by both parents, and her sister Michelle Clarke. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, April 16th from 6PM - 8PM at Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., Springfield, MA. Funeral services for Denise will be held on Saturday, April 17th, beginning at 8:45AM at the funeral home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to take place at 10AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 419 Island Pond Rd., Springfield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
