Diana P. (Booth) Liapis

Diana P. (Booth) Liapis, 93, long time Hampden resident, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Vero Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Diana was born in Yorkshire England on February 11, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Florence (Palkinson) Booth. She was a 27 year employee of Milton Bradley retiring in 1992.  In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, Anthony Liapis, her son, Peter Liapis, and her daughter, Patricia Carroll. Diana is survived by five loving children, Paul Liapis of Hampden, Patrick Liapis of Palmer, Pamela Liapis of Lyndonville, VT, Paula Vanderscoff and her husband Richard of Portsmouth, RI, and Laurie Allen and her husband Gerald of Springfield; a son-in-law Stephen Carroll and daughter-in-law, Marianne Phinney Liapis; as well as ten cherished grandchildren and many great- grandchildren, she also leaves a brother Peter Booth of Canada her sister Rose Leech of England. All services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
