Diane J. (Nicoll) Housman

Diane J. (Nicoll) Housman, 64, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born on December 31, 1954, the daughter of the late Alexander and Virginia (Cooley) Nicoll and was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1972. She was presently employed for over forty years with Monarch Life Insurance Company. Diane treasured moments spent with her two loving children, and her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Peter Housman in 2000. Diane leaves her daughter, Sarah Housman and her boyfriend Tito Perez of Springfield; her son, Alex Housman of Springfield; a sister, Eleanor Sacheli and her husband Charles of Springfield; her sister-in-law, Cindy Housman of Ludlow; her brother-in-law, David Housman of Georgia; and her cherished canine and best friend Biggie. Family and friends will gather and remember Diane on Monday, September 9th from 9-11 AM at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 455 Island Pond Road, Springfield. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM with burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
