Diane M. (Stone) Lowe

Diane M. (Stone) Lowe, 75, of Springfield, died late last evening, September 24, 2023 in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late John and Rita (Gamache) Stone.

Diane was employed by Six Flags Amusement Park in Agawam, where she managed the food service department for thirteen years prior to her retirement in 2014. She enjoyed all types of arts & crafts, knitting, crocheting, baking, country music and watching the WWE.

She was the wife of the late Alden Lowe and leaves two loving children, Patrick A. Lowe and Coleen A. Solin and her husband Michael both of Springfield; a brother, John J. Stone of Springfield; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Corey Solin, and Hasana and Josiah Lowe; three great-grandchildren, Ryliee, Alex and Lucas; along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides her husband, Diane was predeceased by her siblings, Charles Bedard, Elaine Szabo, Shirley LaValley and Beverly Glennie.

All services are private and the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, was honored to handle the arrangements.
