Diane Seymour

Dianne (Clapp) Seymour, 77, of Chicopee, entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, July 8, 2018. She passed away at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Dianne was born in Springfield on April 12, 1941, the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Clapp) Jamieson. Dianne was raised in Springfield and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She also attended Springfield Technical Community College. She worked in medical records for many years at several nursing facilities. She proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Dianne was an avid camper and truly loved to be with her camping family. She loved to crochet hats and mittens or the homeless. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by a son Scott Allison and a sister Beverly Spillie. She is survived by her husband Michael Seymour of Chicopee, a son Steven Wood and his wife Laurie of Monson, MA, a sister Nancy Caballero of Chicopee, and four grandchildren Ashleigh, Dawna, Melissa and Joshua, as well as a special nephew James Gamache, Sr., and his children James, Jr., Alex, Ciara, Joe and Kyle. She also leaves behind her special four legged pal, Gracie. All Service and burial will be private.
