Diane M. Vezina Mamuszka

Diane M. (Rivest) Vezina Mamuszka, 80, of Moreland, GA. and formerly of East Springfield, MA., passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at her home in Moreland, GA., surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born in Springfield, MA. on July 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Rolland and Simone (Beauliere) Rivest. She was a graduate of Springfield Trade High School. Diane enjoyed gardening, reading and shopping but most of all she loved spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her first husband Louis Vezina, Sr., and her husband Alfred Mamuszka, a brother Rolland Rivest and two sisters Peggy Clark and Vivian Legnard and a grandson L.J. Vezina.  She is survived by her four devoted children Louis Vezina, Jr., and his wife Tammy of Chicopee., Laurie Mushenko and her husband Michael of Moreland, GA., Ronald Vezina and his fiancé Alice Gay of Newnan, GA., and Larry Vezina and his wife Tina of Agawam., and a sister Judith Deshias of CA., and she leaves six adored grandchildren Matthew Peczka and his wife Kelly, Nikki Vezina and her fiancé Dan Carmody, Alix Makanga and her husband Makanga, Nathan and Kyle Vezina, and Jessica Vezina. She also leaves her five great-grandchildren Kaylee, Ayden, Caleb, Njagi and Cole. Family and friends will gather and remember Diane on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 4-6p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA. A private burial will be held in St. Michael's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA, 01104.
