Drew Patrick Kelleher

Drew Patrick Kelleher, 25, of Boston and formerly of Longmeadow, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021. Drew was born in Springfield, MA, on October 11, 1996, the son of Dan and Lorin (Robitaille) Kelleher of Longmeadow. He was a graduate of Longmeadow High School (2014) and Amherst College (2018). Drew excelled at everything he did. Throughout his life, Drew’s passion was sports, especially lacrosse. His first sporting events were in the backyard, playing intense games with his two brothers and even his baby sister who was thrown in the net as goalie. In high school, he had the chance to play lacrosse with both of his brothers and was a captain of both the varsity hockey and lacrosse teams. Drew ended his high school career with numerous awards and accolades. One of Drew’s proudest moments was being accepted to Amherst College and having the opportunity to continue playing lacrosse. At Amherst, Drew met lifelong friends and enjoyed every moment of being a student-athlete. After graduating from Amherst, Drew moved to Boston where he worked for Needham & Company, J.P. Morgan, and most recently as an Associate at PSG. Drew left a lasting legacy and will forever live on in our hearts and memories. In addition to his parents, Drew is survived by his two brothers, Dylan J. Kelleher and Camden D. Kelleher; his sister, Grace C. Kelleher, all of Longmeadow; as well as his maternal grandfather, Donald P. Robitaille of Stockbridge, MA. He also leaves a large extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Drew, was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Joyce Kelleher; and his maternal grandmother, Una Freeman Robitaille. Family and friends will gather to remember Drew on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 3-7 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28th at 11:00 AM meeting directly at Sacred Heart Church, 385 Chestnut Street, Springfield. Burial will be private.
