Edward J. Grus, 54, of Feeding Hills, passed away on Wednesday, November, 29, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Edward was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on July 29, 1963, the son of the late Louis J. and Hatsuko (Tanaka) Grus. Edward was a graduate of Trade High School. He worked for Felix Auto Repair for many years. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by a sister Caroline Grus. He is survived by his loving mom Theresa Grus of Agawam, and five siblings Joan Grus, Mark Grus, Josephine Dwyer, Mark Magistri and Guy Magistri, as well as Felix DeCesare who was like an adopted father to Eddie. He will also be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and many friends. Family and friends will remember Eddie on Wednesday, December 6th from 9a.m. -11a.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118, Followed by A Life Celebration Service at 11a.m. Burial will conclude in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Springfield.
