Elizabeth (Cicerchia) Durant, 92 of the Pine Point Section of Springfield, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born in Springfield on July 20, 1925, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (DeFalco) Cicerchia. Elizabeth was a graduate of Cathedral High School. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Bernard Durant, a son Daniel Durant, and two sisters Dorothy Campana and Carmella Kerr and a granddaughter Jill Ann Durant. She is survived by her son Bruce Durant of Springfield, two brothers Vincent Cicerchia and his wife Margaret of Ludlow and Arthur Cicerchia and his wife Elaine of Holyoke and a sister Clara Perri of Springfield and four grandchildren Gina, Angie, Eric and Jason and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet directly on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 27 Somers Road, Hampden, MA. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
