Eric Roman

Eric Roman, 57, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home after battling serious medical issues in recent years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Maria Roman-Santiago; his daughter, Ashlen J. Koffinke and her husband Scott of Springfield; his devoted parents, Cruz and Agueda; two loving sisters, Marriett Carrero and her husband Jose of Wallkill, NY and Magda Riley of Springfield; his extended family, and last but not least, his adored four legged friend Ryder. Eric graced us with his unique personality, selfless acts of kindness and witty sense of humor.  But above all, especially through his illness, his faith as a Jehovah’s Witness was unwavering as he was certain of his hope for the future.  We would like to thank his PCAs, Wilma, Yoli and Exavier as well as the staff at Baystate Health for their care and expertise. A memorial service will be held via Zoom at a later time.  Memorial contributions may be made to Jehovah’s Witness Christian Congregation.
