Evelyn W. Nicoll

Evelyn W. (Bohn) Nicoll, 95, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Mount Saint Vincent in Holyoke. Born in Holyoke, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Packard) Bohn. Evelyn was a graduate of Commerce High School and worked as a cook for the Springfield school system. She was a member of East Church Congregational in Springfield. Along with her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, James Nicoll; her brothers, Joseph A. and Gustave F. Bohn; her sisters, Dorothy Blanchard and Phyllis Weber; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Nicoll. She leaves her four children, James Nicoll and his wife Becky of Southampton, Judy Nicoll and her wife Kathy of Ludlow, David Nicoll and his wife Sheila of Wilbraham, and Barbara Roczniak and her husband Ronald of Attleboro; her sister, Betty Vogel and her husband John of Southampton; six grandchildren, Bonnie Hunter, Janice Orwat, James and Ian Nicoll, and Alexander and Veronica Roczniak; and six great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 12 noon Byron Keenan Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St, Springfield followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
