Felicita "Liza" (Sanchez) Saenz

Felicita “Liza” Saenz, 63, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Liza, daughter of Dolores “Lolo” and Laura (Roman) Sanchez, was born in New York, NY on March 9, 1957. She attained her certificate in business accounting at STCC and went on to become an office manager in the Clerk Magistrate’s office for the Springfield District Court where she worked for the last 42 years. Liza was an elegant woman who loved shopping and fresh flowers and never went out without her red lipstick and nails. Liza was a beautiful, loving woman of faith.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends she will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jeremiah Sanchez and William Sanchez. Liza is survived by her daughter, Melissa Saenz and her husband Daniel Diaz of Springfield; her sons, Jonathan Saenz and his wife Nicole of South Hadley, and Jeremiah Saenz of Springfield; and their father Renee Saenz of Springfield; her brothers, David Sanchez, Dennis Sanchez, and John Sanchez; her sister Mariam Azito and her husband Benjamin; her grandchildren, Miguel Dones, Makayla Dones, Matthew Dones, Dalene Diaz, Antwan Saenz, and Jacob Saenz; her great granddaughters, Ava and Adalynn Dones; the family pet dog Boss; many nieces and nephews, and the entire Springfield District Court Family. Family and friends will gather and remember Liza on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 3pm-6pm. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA.
