Frances Marie (Passero) Stote

Frances Marie (Passero) Stote, 83, of Springfield Ma, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Mount Saint Vincent Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.  Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 6, 1936, daughter of the late Charles and Giovannina "Jennie" (Cannistraci) Passero.  She was a graduate of Classical High School and retired from the Registry of Deeds after many years of service.  In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband John R. Stote, her sister Jeanette and  husband Donald Hamer.  Frances is survived by her three devoted children, John Stote, Jane Granger and her significant other Paul Shields, and James Stote.  She leaves behind her loving sister Nancy and her husband Stephen Haramut, many nieces and nephews, as well as her daughter-in-law Patricia Stote.  Frances also leaves behind her six adored grandchildren, Danielle Allen, Giovanina Thompson, James Stote Jr., Sophia Stote, Katherine Shields and William Shields as well as her two cherished great grandchildren, Whitney Allen and Anneliese Thompson.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11am at Saint Mary's Church, 519 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow.  Burial will be private.  Family and Friends will gather and remember Frances on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Saint Vincent Nursing Home, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, Ma, 01040.
