Gail A. Bower

Gail A. Bower, 78, of West Springfield, passed away on May 11, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield on September 5, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Lilian Bower.  Gail graduated with a Master’s Degree in teaching from AIC and taught school in the Shelburne Falls area for 10 years. She left the teaching profession to become owner of Penn Travel and eventually co-owner of Stevens Travel. Gail leaves her brother, Alan of West Springfield, as well as many loving extended family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA. Arrangements are entrusted to the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA 01118. Donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity, 322 W.
