Harold E. Potter

Harold E. Potter, a resident of Hampden, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning at 85 years old. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara May (Bridges) Potter, 82. He is also survived by his daughters, Lee Anne Mason and Julianne Zausmer and her husband Brian; his grandchildren Elizabeth Gamache and her husband James, Emily Potter, and Andrew Potter; and his great grandchildren Khaleesi and Abel Gamache. Harold was an usher at Bethlehem Church, and previously ushered at Christian Life Center for many years. He was a member of the Army National Guard. He worked at Package Machinery in East Longmeadow for 26 years before moving to Conval, Inc. in Somers, CT where he retired. He enjoyed his family, wood carving, and gardening. He will be greatly missed and he is enormously loved. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 26 at 9:00AM at Bethlehem Church, 123 Allen St., Hampden. A service will begin at 10:00AM, with burial to follow in Old Cemetery, Chapin Rd., Hampden.
