Harold "Harry" F. Sawyer
December 18, 1944 ~ April 5, 2021 (age 76) 76 Years Old
Harold F. “Harry” Sawyer, 76, of Springfield and Tarpon Springs, FL., passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Harry was born in Springfield on December 18, 1944, the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Efantis) Sawyer. He worked for many years with the Springfield Water Department. Harry's passion was music. He loved DJ'ing parties for friends and listening to oldies music. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by a grandson L. J. Vezina and three brothers Edward, Jack and Albert Sawyer. Harry is survived by the love of his life of many years, Mary (Noonan) Sawyer of Springfield and his children Tina Vezina (Larry) of Agawam, Tom Sawyer (Gloria) of Agawam, Raymond Sawyer of Springfield, Daniel Budrow of Hampden and Sarah Powers (Kevin) of Ashland, Ma., and he leaves his grandchildren Nikki Vezina, Colin Sawyer, Madelaine and Lillian Powers, and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Cole, and he leaves a brother Howard Sawyer (Ann) of Agawam, and a sister Eleanor Pelletier of South Dakota, as well as a large extended family. A private service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. Arrangements entrusted to the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
