Helen E. (Lewis) Norris

Helen E. Norris (Lewis), 90, of North Kingstown, RI and originally of Springfield, MA, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick, RI. Helen (a.k.a. Betty) was born on June 25, 1932, daughter of the late Luna and Lester Lewis of Springfield, MA. She worked as a Customer Service Representative for various telephone companies for many years. Helen is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lee Norris and leaves her daughter, Gail O’Brien of Smithfield, RI; and her son, David Norris of North Kingstown, RI; her nieces, Joan, Judi, Lori and Jaye; as well as many extended family members. Besides her parents, Helen is predeceased by sisters, Ruth Scully, Marian Pellegrini, June Fontaine; her brother, Frederick Lewis and nephew, Richard Pellegrini. Loved by family and friends, she will be greatly missed. Helen had a passion for music, playing piano, dancing, travel and loved to laugh. She had a beautiful soprano singing voice and was also a wonderful cook. Family and friends will honor and remember Helen on September 16, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.  A graveside service will follow at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden, MA.
