Helen L. Ross, 101, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. Helen was born in Springfield on April 19, 1916, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Doyle) Ross. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class 1934. Helen was an active communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Springfield. She was employed by Monsanto Chemical Company and retired after thirty-five years of service. She also worked evenings at American International College. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by seven siblings, Francis, Mabel, George, Leo, Elizabeth, Alice and Walter. She is survived by a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather and remember Helen on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at a Funeral Home Service at 9:30a.m.  at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
