James Earl Johnson, Sr.

James Earl Johnson, Sr., 34, of Springfield, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 5, 2020. James was born in Boston on October 23, 1985, the son of Willie James Phillips of Springfield and Magnolia Johnson of Springfield. James was currently working at Smith and Wesson for the past nine months as an assembler. In addition to his parents he is also survived by his wife Nikita Marie Flores of Springfield, three children James Earl Johnson, Jr., Jayvien Ezra Johnson, Gloryvee Roxanne Johnson, two brothers Christopher Moore and Jerome Moore both of Mississippi and three sisters Belmra Johnson of Springfield, Panzie Johnson of Boston and Patricia Johnson of Georgia, and he leaves his mother in law Aida Sotolotto of Georgia and Nicholas Flores of Springfield, and he also leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will gather and remember James on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 10-1130a.m. Followed by a Life Celebration Service at 1130a.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.
