James Manning Sazama, of Hamburg, NY and formerly of Hampden, MA, passed away on May 7, 2017 after a courageous battle with terminal cancer. James was born in Springfield on July 25, 1944, the son of the late Robert and Opal (Manning) Sazama. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. James worked for LSG Sky Chefs and retired in 2002. He is survived by his wife Kalyanee Sazama of Hamburg, NY, and three children Bing Paesang of Lancaster, NY, Paul Paesang and his wife Michelle of Beaver, PA., and Linda Hazlett and her husband Jeff of Hamburg, NY, and he leaves 5 grandchildren. Family and friends will gather on Monday, May, 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 27 Somers Road in Hampden. Burial will conclude in Old Cemetery in Hampden.
