James Benjamin Thomas

James Benjamin Thomas of Enfield, Ct., passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Hartford, CT., on July 12, 1939, the son of the late James Thomas and Mary (Hale) Jackson. James was an avid basketball player. He played at Weaver High School in Hartford, CT where his team went on to win the New England Championship and was honored at the Basketball Hall of Fame, in 1959. James is survived by his four devoted sons Derrick Thomas of South Windsor, Ct., Terry Thomas and his wife Awilda Nunez of Enfield, CT., James Thomas of Rocky Hill, CT., and Michael Thomas of Enfield, CT and he leaves six adored grandchildren Brandon, Arielle, Torrey, Brittaney, Christian and Justin and he leaves two great-grandchildren Zayah and Denzel.
