Janice R. (Vezina) Nuzzolilli, 80, of East Longmeadow, died early Saturday evening, April 21, 2018 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born and educated in Springfield, a daughter of the late Henry and Louise (Bugbee) Vezina and was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1955. Janice retired after several years from the deli counter at the Village Mart in Hampden and previously was employed at the deli counter at the former B&B Market in East Longmeadow for over 15 years. She was an avid bingo player, former professional ice skater, avid golfer and former member of Feeding Hills Country Club. Janice was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick’s Church of Springfield. She was the devoted wife and best friend of 45 years to her late husband, Virginio “Geno” Nuzzolilli who died in December of 2014 and leaves seven loving children, Thomas Tourville of FL, Glenn Tourville of Ware, Daniel Tourville and Jennifer Wilson of Agawam, Lori Hebert of East Longmeadow, Tina Varner and John Picano of Vernon, CT, Lisa Cloutier of Concord, CA, and Gina Robison of Craig, CO; six grandchildren, Daniel, Molly, Christine, Stephane II, Jessica and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren, Sydnee, Noah and Sophia Rose; numerous nieces and nephews and her favorite canine and companion, Polly Marie. Janice was predeceased by her grandson, Jack Edmund Hebert; and three sisters, Marie Dumais, Helen Fillmoore and Alice Boucher. Her funeral will be held on Saturday April 28th at 8:15 AM from the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1900 Allen St., both in Springfield. A private committal will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., in Agawam.
