Jean P. (Cantrell) Lombra

Jean P. (Cantrell) Lombra, of Wilbraham, formerly of Greenfield, MA., passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born in Northampton, MA., on July 14, 1932, the daughter of the late Skippon and Alice (Larochelle) Cantrell. Jean graduated from Northampton High School. She was a member of The Academy of Music in Northampton. Jean retired after many years of service from the telephone company.  She was an active member of St. Marks Church in East Longmeadow. Jean loved to play the piano, sing, sew and take care of everyone. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Joel Lombra in 1985. Jean is survived by her two devoted children Joel Lombra of East Longmeadow and Jill Poehlman and her husband Bill of Wilbraham, two sisters Norma Turnbull and Barbara Bracy and she leaves two cherished grandchildren Cody Crowell and Matthew Crowell. Family and friends will gather and remember Jean on Thursday, January, 20, 2022 from 4p.m - 6p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will be private in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Dementia Society of America
