Jill Ann (Egan) Maki

With hearts filled with love and pain, the family of Jill Ann Maki née Egan of Springfield share that she passed away at age seventy-six on August 29, 2022. She is survived by her loving fiancé, three children, one nephew, three nieces, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and countless friends.  Her love of life didn’t come to and end that day because those who knew her best will continue to live life to the fullest in her memory.

Jill was born at home in Rindge, New Hampshire on June 9, 1946 to Evelyn and William Egan.  She grew up with sisters Donna and Pauline in Winchendon, NH.  Her parents and sisters have all preceded her in death.  Jill is mother to John, Roxann (Glen), and Bill (Kelly); Grandmother to Shane (Lexi), Tyler, Oliver, and Olivia.  Jill is great-grandmother to Mia and Everly.  She is Aunt to Jackie, Beth, Jessie, and her favorite nephew Gene.  She also survived by the love of her life, Kim Johnson.

Jill lit up every room she entered, turned strangers into friends and there was never a stray cat she didn’t invite home.  When she was younger, she spent much of her free time camping and enjoying nature.  She also enjoyed playing video games, spoiling her grandkids, and entertaining friends.

A memorial service is being planned and details will be shared with family and friends in the coming weeks.
