John J. Camerota

John J. Camerota, 47, died on Monday, November 15, 2021 in Rockledge, Florida. He was born on April 26, 1974 in Springfield, Massachusetts and educated in East Longmeadow, a son of Margaret M. (Donovan) and Frank Camerota, of East Longmeadow. John received a Juris Doctor's degree from Western New England College School of Law in 2000 and an LLM Master of Laws Degree from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2002. John had a successful career as an attorney specializing in family law and as a prosecutor and Assistant State Attorney in Lake County, Florida. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved being creative with his passion and talent for woodworking. Besides his parents, he leaves his loving wife of eight years, Cristina (Fiordalice) Camerota of Minneola, FL; their three children, Michael, Gabriella and Vin; his sister, Christina Camerota, of East Longmeadow; his mother and father in-law, Giancarlo and Maria Teresa Fiordalice of Westfield; two brothers-in-law, Peter and Carrie Fiordalice of Westfield, and Franco and Gretchen Fiordalice of Easthampton; as well as many more close family and friends. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Patrick's Church, 1900 Allen Street, in Springfield, MA. A private burial will take place in the Camerota family lot of St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1858 Allen Street in Springfield at a time and date to be announced.
