Jonathan J. Isham

On June 19, 2022, our world changed forever. We lost a son, brother, father, uncle, grandson, cousin & friend.  Jonathan J. Isham is finally at peace.  Everyone that knew him, especially his family, will miss him. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kimberlie Fortini and her husband Norman, his father, Clark Isham, Jr and his wife Carrie; his son, Jeremy Isham and Jeremy’s mom, Jessie Scheehser; siblings, Stephen Isham and fiancée Alyson Lentini, Amber Lyons and her husband John Lyons, Randi Fortini and her fiancée Steve Carlson and Adrianna Isham; a nephew, Garrett Lyons, his Mimi, Frances Fortini; great-grandmother, Olive Dyer; along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Bosco.  Jonathan was greeted in Heaven by those who went before him, his grandparents, Robert & Jacqueline Everett, Norman Fortini Sr., Bernadine Isham, and Clark Isham Sr., his great-grandfather, Emerson Dyer; and Uncle, Roger “Duke” Duquette. Jonathan was always the jokester. He loved working on cars, especially his Eagle Talon & Honda Accord.  You could always find him in the driveway, tools scattered and him under a vehicle tinkering away.  He loved talking about football and was always well informed who the up-and-coming player would be sharing his opinion with anyone who would listen.  He was pretty good at fantasy football too.  His love of football started early, he played Pop Warner when he was young and continued playing when he reached high school and played for the Central Golden Eagles.  He also wrestled for Central and took 2nd place in the 2005 Massachusetts Div.1 State Wrestling Tournament for his weight class.  His wrestling team was inducted into the Western Mass Hall of Fame and received a championship ring that he treasured. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning, June 28th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, with a funeral home service beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, all in Springfield.
