Juan L. Rodriguez, 53, a resident of Springfield, and avid member of the FLNY RYDERZ Motorcycle Club, died early Tuesday morning, December 11, 2018 in the comfort of his home, with his loving family at his side. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a loving son of Milagros G. Rodriguez of Manhattan, NY and Juan A. Alvarado. Juan was employed as a driver for many years with numerous trucking companies, most recently in the retail food industry. Besides his mother he leaves five loving children, Johnny Michael and Jenney Marie Alvarado, Jeremy Charles, Brooklyne Rose and Demetrius Michael Rodriguez; his wife, Tammy A. (Gagnon) Rodriguez of Worcester; his two brothers, Jose Alberto Rodriguez of Worcester, and Arthur Rodriguez of Springfield; two sisters, Luz T. Rodriguez of Springfield, and Gisela Rodriguez Lawson of Michigan; an aunt, Maria Isabel of Florida, several cousins, as well as many longtime friends and acquaintances of the FLNY RYDERZ Motorcycle Club which he became a member in 2013. His family would like to extend their sincere heartfelt thanks to all of the nurses, chaplains and staff at Baystate Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Springfield for their kindness and wonderful care provided to Juan during his illness. Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Saturday afternoon, December 22nd from 2-4 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 4:00 PM. Burial will be private.
